Twittstory pt.2

Okay. Now, it's time for the next period of the history of Twitter. As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm going to talk about "the reaction of society on Twitter".
So, it was 2007 when Twitter joined the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. During this festival the Twitter usage increased from 20,000 tweets to 60,000 tweets per day.

Reaction at the festival was highly positive. A famous blogger Scott Beale said that Twitter "absolutely rul[ed]". Also the social software researcher, Danah Boyd said that Twitter had "own[ed]" the festival.

After that festival, Twitter became famous around the USA and in a half of the year - all over the world.
